When one is in a constant pursuit of reality, emotional experience becomes a constant accompanying process. At a level of discourse and reflection one tries to detach oneself, depart beyond the limits of consciousness – to cut the window. “windows let into the room the flow of light, objects, essences… as if the contact is being established with the essence, light/enlightment. Photography of this kind changes essentially the notion of the boundaries of artistic space and respectively, the status and the language of “optic reality”. These boundaries are ephemeral and do not post questions: where is art? Life or “no-life”? and what remains is the necessary metaphor of cognition, love, exchange, mystics, theology, poetry, painting and architecture. Crossing the optical limitations of human vision is naturally built on the basis of symmetric exchange: right-left, unlimited space and narrow path, death is the double of life, ugliness of beauty, smallness of greatness. The esthetic understanding of a daily rhythm, where everything seems to be accidental and is in contemplative position.To penetrate the real world and unmistakable reality the optical-visual codes of Natela Grigalashvili exist by means of images. The position fixed and experienced through black-and-white documentalism of the world is a necessary condition of the evolution of the so-called “mirror stage”. Only then there is a hope to hear and comprehend the other’s voice and to be able to answer. Answer without being afraid of this mirrored echo.
