“The woman is 1.64 cm” (Mama Cash for Women)

PhotoVideo Installation. 2005 photo 30X40cm. video DV 08 min

The line was beginning on the left big toe nail, slowly slid on the skin not observing irritating small hairs and first wrinkles; whirl around ugly black moles and scars getting on nerves; went up and down puffed-up veins; went up from neck to the face, stopped at the pimples, spinning for a while round the colorless lips, eyes, then to the forehead and lost in hair.

The photographic and  the video camera fixes personal sensory chronicle on the author’s body – routine cosmetic activities, marking by Flomaster moles, pimples, scars, newly appeared wrinkles and other unnoticeable defects at a glance. Cosmetic manipulation are ambiguous and ironical and presents gender sense perception according to private reality multiplied by own fantasies and statement and attempting to maintain epistemological perspectives free from isolation and borders of  uncorporal existence
