Catalogue of Posters Made for the Court Day

The catalogue contains posters presented by twenty modern painters living in Georgia at the exhibition dedicated to the Court Day. The aim of the catalogue is to employ modern art for raising public awareness on human rights, judicial system and justice.The works stress the necessity of strengthening justice in Georgia, effecting judicial reform and increasing the public confidence in court.The posters presented in the catalogue are aimed at popularization of ethic norms not only among individuals but through the general public. Moreover, it can be seen as the authors’ attempt at identifying their civic consciousness.The exhibition and the catalogue have been prepared by the Supreme Court of Georgia, the UNDP project “Support to Accessibility and Transparency of Justice System” and the Contemporary Art Club (CAC).
