11 February, 2004, 14:00, Rustavi

“Rustavi Dramatic Theatre”

The exhibition lasted until 21 February.

Sofia Cherkezishvil – “Please, just don’t be weak” – painting

Irina Abzhandadze – “The Victim” – photo

Two-sided, more precisely bilateral exhibition. On the one hand photo and on the other hand painting. Such segregation of the exhibition emphasizes the reasons that besides technical differences of these works conceptual differences appear as well, i.e. resulting gradation of the fact and its improvement. The photo exhibition “The Victim” and exhibition of paintings “Please, don’t be weak”. “The Victim” – unpunished murderers, syndrome of unpunishability lasting for 12 years, illegality and on the other hand by means of paintings appeal towards society to become active, to overcome nihilism, to believe in oneself and in supremacy of law. A passive person will not able to build a strong state, where all men will have place – weak and strong, clever and less clever, there will be space for love, private life, poetry and art.
